Why Onescle is the best way to run an online shop in Bangladesh
Six tools that never talk to each other, and fake COD orders you still pay for. Here is why I built Onescle, and why I think it fits how people in Bangladesh actually sell online.
I have spent a lot of time talking to people who sell online in Bangladesh. Clothing shops, gift shops, people selling honey from their village. Almost all of them tell me the same story.
They start on Facebook. Orders come in through Messenger. Then they buy a cheap website, add a courier account, a bKash merchant number, a spreadsheet for stock, and a separate app for SMS. Six tools that never talk to each other. And every week a few cash-on-delivery orders come back unpaid, and they still pay the courier for the trip.
I built Onescle to fix that. Here is why I think it is the best way to run an online shop in Bangladesh right now, and what makes it different from a normal website.

One platform instead of six apps
With Onescle, the shop, the orders, the courier booking, the payments and the customers live in one place. When an order comes in, you see it on your dashboard, on your phone and on the shop counter at the same time. You don't copy an address from Messenger into a courier website any more.

What you get from day one:
- A store you design yourself. Pick from ready-made designs, change the colours, sections and fonts. No developer needed.
- Bangla and English. Your customers read the store in the language they prefer, and so does your dashboard.
- Your own domain. Connect
yourbrand.comin a few clicks. Onescle sets up the DNS and the SSL certificate for you. - No commission on sales. You pay for your plan, not a cut of every order.

Couriers and payments that already work here
Most international platforms were not built for how we sell. Cash on delivery is normal. Customers want to pay with bKash or Nagad. Deliveries go through Pathao, Steadfast or RedX.
Onescle has these built in. You book a courier from the order page, the tracking status comes back on its own, and the COD money is reconciled against what the courier reports. On the payment side, bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz and cards work at checkout, next to plain cash on delivery.

Fake COD orders are caught before you pay for them
This is the feature I am most proud of.
A fake COD order costs you twice. First you pay the delivery charge for a parcel nobody accepts. The second cost is hidden: your website tells Meta that a "purchase" happened, so Facebook ads go looking for more people like the one who placed the fake order. Your ad budget slowly learns to find fraudsters.
Onescle's Fraud Shield scores every COD order before it becomes a real order. It looks at the phone number, the device, the address and duplicate patterns, and your own rules. And it waits to tell Meta about a purchase until the order has actually turned out to be real.

AI that saves real time
Writing product titles and descriptions for 200 products is boring work. In Onescle you can take a photo of a product and get a draft listing with a title, description and SEO text. You still review it, but you are editing, not starting from a blank page.
Your shop on your phone and your counter
Not every shop is only online. Many of my merchants also have a physical counter. So Onescle has two more apps that use the same account:
- Onescle Seller for Android, to manage orders and products from your phone.
- A desktop POS for Windows and Linux. It prints receipts, opens the cash drawer and keeps working when the internet drops.

Simple, prepaid pricing
There are three plans, paid in advance, with a 14-day free trial and no card needed to start. Because there is no commission, a good month for your shop is a good month for you, not for the platform.

Why I think it is the best choice
It is not one big feature. It is that everything a Bangladeshi online shop needs is already connected, and built for how people here actually buy: cash on delivery, local couriers, bKash and Nagad, Bangla, and Facebook ads that shouldn't be trained by fake orders.
I built Onescle from the first line of code to production in 39 days, and I use what I learn from merchants every week to improve it. If you run an online shop, you can try it free at onescle.com. If you want to know how it is built, the full case study is on this site.
